Pam - Calendar Girl

"These Photographs have been taken to celebrate the end of my 17 months journey with Breast Cancer. I also celebrated my 50th birthday earler this year so
the pictures are very special to me as my cancer involved the loss of both my breasts. I wanted other woman to realize that just because we can lose our
breasts to this disease we are still very much women in every shape and form. Who says you cannot have a glorious cleavage without 'real' breasts.
I had the option of having my photos 'airbrushed' like the models in magazines but i decided not to have this done as I wished to be seen as I am. These
photographs were taken because friends from school suggested we should do a calendar for Breast Cancer so thats what we are doing. We are all scattered
across the world but united in friendship from UK to WA to Sunshine Coast, LA, Malta, Dubai & NZ to name but a few countries.
I last wore this outfit 25 years ago while on stage singing Cabaret in my mad impetuous youth at my first overseas Territorial Army camp. Had I not had my
surgery I could never have worn it again.
To me these photographs celebrate my life and my body that God has given me. I have been truly blessed as I have been so fortunate to have ha wonderful
support from friends, colleagues and my family who are all overseas.
I hope & pray that these photographs will inspire other woman to go out and do these things they have been saving for a wintry cold wet day. Life is to short
to wait a precious minute so go and do it.
Remember a photograph is a picture of your soul."

God bless from
